Adult Faith Formation & Book Discussion
In October, we will celebrate our 5th Anniversary as a Reconciling in Christ congregation. As part of this celebration, our members have been engaging in conversations about diversity and inclusion beginning with the summer STLC Reads group and now engaging our Adult Faith Formation class this fall where we will be focusing on the book Dear Church: A Love Letter from a Black Preacher to the Whitest Denomination in the US by Rev. Lenny Duncan. This discussion will begin on Sunday, September 18th at 9:15 am and will be facilitated by Jen Yamin and Bridget Radford. In support of our local bookseller at The Curious Capybara Bookshop, we will be placing orders for the book. The cost of the book is $14 and the deadline to order a book is Monday, September 5th so that we can make sure you have time to read in advance of the first session. For more information, please contact Jen Yamin or Bridget Radford.
